5) Terms & Conditions
Every student is required to carefully read, understand, and accept the following terms and conditions before admission. These terms shall remain applicable throughout the duration of the student’s enrollment at EduCareer Sindh Institute, Sukkur.
6) Professional Development for Global Industry Readiness
All students are required to actively participate in Microsoft Healthcare, Data, AI, and Security training. Sessional marks will be calculated based on participation in this training.
7) Extracurricular Activities
Participation in extracurricular activities is essential for holistic development. These include sports, hospital tours, galas, recreational trips, workshops, seminars, conferences, academic competitions, and symposiums.
8) Dress Code
Students must wear a white apron during institute hours. Clothing must be neat, clean, and presentable. Violators of the dress code will be fined up to Rs. 1,000 and may be restricted from attending classes.
9) HEC Policy Compliance
Students shall strictly follow HEC policies regarding sexual harassment protection, plagiarism, and undergraduate admission, as well as all examination regulations set by the institute and university.
10) Institute Affiliation Policy
The institute reserves the right to change its affiliation with another university without prior notice. Students will comply with any academic adjustments resulting from such changes.
11) Clinical & Industry Training
Students must participate in hospital tours, clinical training, and industry visits to enhance practical knowledge. 75% attendance is mandatory.
12) Sports & Recreational Activities
The institute promotes physical well-being through indoor and outdoor sports, annual events, and tournaments after exam periods.
13) Gala Events & Student Recreation
Students are encouraged to participate in welcome/farewell functions, academic competitions, Qirat, Naat, debates, quizzes, and research events. Expenses for such events are student-borne.
14) General Conduct and Compliance
All students must adhere to institute policies and maintain discipline, respect, and decorum during academic and extracurricular activities. Misconduct or harassment may lead to suspension or expulsion.
15) Attendance
A minimum of 85% attendance is required across all sessions. Fines of Rs. 100 per absence day apply. Extended absences may result in suspension, expulsion, or disqualification from exams.
16) Fee Policy
Students must pay tuition and other dues as per the schedule. Late payment fines apply. Fees are non-refundable except in institute-initiated cancellations. Specific conditions apply for failures or term-back students.
17) Re-admission Policy for Expelled or Terminated Students
Expelled students seeking re-admission must submit an undertaking, pay all dues, and a re-admission fee of Rs. 50,000/-.
18) Study and Training Schedules
Students must follow class schedules, internships, and training sessions. Unauthorized absences will lead to disciplinary action. The institute reserves the right to revise academic calendars as needed.
19) Academic Integrity
Students must maintain honesty in academics. Cheating, plagiarism, or document falsification will result in dismissal.
20) Institute Property and Facilities
All institute property must be respected. Damages must be compensated. Misuse of facilities will result in disciplinary action.
21) Code of Conduct and Dress Policy
Students must follow the dress and ID policy, maintain courteous behavior, and avoid political or unauthorized gatherings.
22) Examination and Evaluation Policy
Students must appear in all assessments. Absences without approval result in zero marks. Exam committee decisions are final.
23) Communication and Notifications
All updates will be communicated via official channels. Students must remain informed and comply with deadlines.
24) Institute’s Rights
The institute reserves the right to amend policies, fee structures, and schedules without notice and take necessary disciplinary actions.
25) Documents Policy
Students must submit original certificates/degrees until completion. Color scans must be uploaded to ERP. Fake documents result in cancellation and legal action.
Migration Policy
Migration requests require a non-refundable fee of PKR 100,000/-, clearance of all dues, and approval from the competent authority. Expelled or failed students are ineligible. Processing time: 45 working days. Migration within the same city is not permitted.

- Attendance in clinical postings, hospital rotations, laboratory sessions, and practical work is compulsory for all students as per the schedule issued by the institute.
- Each student must maintain at least 85% attendance in clinical and practical sessions during every semester to remain eligible for internal and final assessments.
- Absence from clinical or practical duties without prior written approval will be treated as unauthorized and recorded as absent.
Punctuality and Discipline
- Students must report to their assigned wards, departments, or laboratories on time as per the official duty roster.
- Late arrival, early departure, or neglect of assigned duties will be considered violation of discipline and may result in warnings or disciplinary action.
- Students are expected to show professional behavior while attending patients, interacting with hospital staff, and performing assigned clinical tasks.
Conduct and Professional Ethics
- During clinical postings, students must display ethical conduct, courtesy, and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
- Use of mobile phones, photography, or sharing patient data during hospital hours is strictly prohibited.
- Any misconduct or breach of ethics will result in disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion.
Compliance with Hospital and Institute Rules
- Students must follow all hospital and institute rules, including dress codes, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Wearing the prescribed uniform, ID card, and protective gear is mandatory during hospital postings.
- All clinical work shall be performed under supervision, following the reporting hierarchy.
Attendance Records and Evaluation
- Clinical supervisors will maintain daily attendance and performance records contributing to internal assessment.
- Students with insufficient attendance or poor performance may be declared ineligible for exams or required to repeat the clinical term.
- No make-up sessions will be arranged except for approved medical or family emergencies with valid documentation.
Liability and Safety
- Students are responsible for maintaining their safety and hygiene during clinical work.
- The institute and hospital are not liable for any injury, infection, or incident resulting from negligence or rule violation.

This policy applies to all students enrolled in Open Distance Learning (ODL) programs offered by EduCareer Sindh Institute, particularly those residing outside Sukkur. While flexibility is provided, consistent participation and timely submission of academic tasks are mandatory for successful program completion.

- ODL programs are designed for flexibility; however, active participation in scheduled online sessions, lab training, clinical training, and assessments is essential for successful completion.

- Students must log in to the Learning Management System (LMS) at least three times per week to:

- Participate in discussions

- Attendance in live virtual classes is strongly recommended.
- A minimum of 70% attendance in synchronous sessions may be required for certain courses with practical components.
