The BS Radiology and Imaging Technology program spans 8 semesters over 4 years, offering a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training. Program Objectives
- To develop a strong foundational knowledge in the anatomy of the human body, with basic knowledge of its physiology, biochemistry, and pathology.
- To equip students with practical skills in the use, radiation protection, and maintenance of equipment specific to radiology and imaging e.g., ultra-sonography, MRI/CT, Mammography & Fluoroscopy, etc.
- To promote critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through case studies, simulations, and clinical rotations in healthcare outlets.
- To enhance students' understanding of professional and ethical standards in radiology and imaging technology, emphasizing patient safety, quality assurance, and effective communication.
